JOB DUTIES

● Work on Agile methodology by attending sprint planning, retrospective and backlog grooming meetings along with other teammates. 

● Interact with the business team and discuss the functional specifications, high level requirements and user stories. 

● Communicate with architects and other developers to design and develop new functionalities considering the existing project limitations and performance requirements. 

● Perform full system life cycle management activities like analysis, technical requirements, design, coding, testing and implementation of system and application software. 

● Work closely with Product owners to build innovative technologies that are customized to drive the business and provide ultimate customer experience. 

● Develop a python server using Django, Flask, Bottle, or other python frameworks. 

● Build and maintain applications in the RHEL Linux environment using Python and integrate with Kafka, Oracle DB, S3 APIs. 

● Work on server-side/mid-tier languages, frameworks, libraries, and related technologies like Java EE, Python, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, SLF4j, Maven. 

● Develop front-end applications using client-side languages, libraries, and frameworks like Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, ReactJS, NPM, HTML/CSS. 

● Align with standard methodologies regarding object-oriented design, coding standards, RESTful service consumption and integration, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage. 

● Implement and maintain monitoring & alerting of production servers such as EC2 and storage such as S3 buckets using AWS Cloud Watch. 

● Implement AWS IAM for managing the credentials of applications that run on EC2 instances. 

● Compose and execute Mongo DB scripts to insert and update NoSQL database, automating data changes and reporting. 

● Design various tables required for the project in MySQL database and involve in coding the SQL Queries, Stored Procedures and Triggers. 

● Implement Jenkins CI/CD pipeline for building, testing and deployment of the code. 

● Research and create a Proof of Concept using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcomes and consequences of a design. 

● Contribute to testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation of software systems which involve creating and executing tests. 

● Develop test cases using TDD (Test Driven Development) approach and write test scenarios, develop feature files using Cucumber annotations.

EDUCATION  

Bachelor’s  degree in Computer Science/ IT/IS/Engineering (Any) or closely related field with Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or Analyst or Programmer or Developer or related field.

EXPERIENCE                    

Experience of Five (5) years as Software Engineer/Developer is required.
